Hugh Khan Joins Intelligent Banking Solutions as CTO

Intelligent Banking Solutions Inc. (IBS) is proud to welcome Hugh Khan as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Khan’s appointment signals a historic moment for IBS as the company embraces innovative strategies to foster advanced technological solutions and enhanced support for community banking institutions.

Khan, who will also continue as the CTO of Suntell, a sister company within the Arcadea Group, brings a wealth of experience to his new role at IBS. He is an expert in leading high-performing software development teams and devising business strategy frameworks. His talents align with IBS’s vision to empower financial institutions by providing them with the tools they need to thrive in an ever-evolving landscape.

Khan has been key to the success of several technology startups, including his own venture, Highploom. He has worked as chief operating officer (COO) at CubeMonk, engineering director at Zcash and senior vice president at Lockton, while making significant contributions in the sectors of fintech, mobile computing, e-commerce and artificial intelligence (AI). His intricate understanding of software development and business strategy will be a guiding light for IBS.

“I love being part of a team, and having a good team around you is everything. I have discovered that if I’m good at anything, it’s deeply understanding people and building meaningful relationships. I look forward to working with the incredible team at IBS. They make it possible to take on challenges with ease,” said Khan. “The next few years will be a transformational time for new technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), which will result in a paradigm shift. By using agile methodology to develop and enhance IBS software, we can help the community banking industry navigate the coming change — and remain robust in their offerings.”

IBS’s flagship offering, CARM-Pro™ collections and asset recovery software, empowers collections officers to remain competitive in an increasingly dynamic market. Khan’s focus on leveraging new technology strategies will enable smaller financial institutions to maximize efficiency and effectiveness, and guarantees their continued growth and success.

“We are elated for Khan to join the IBS team. He is highly qualified for the position, and he’s ready to embrace our culture of caring for the community banking industry. Small banks face certain systemic challenges, and with Hugh on our side, we can continue enhancing our software to help them face their evolving needs,” said Ronnie Wooten, CEO of IBS and Suntell. “While Suntell provides services on the front end, IBS will bring and reclaim assets on the back end. Thanks to Hugh, we can also continue to provide the full stack on the application end.”

As the financial industry undergoes rapid transformation driven by new technologies, Khan’s appointment heralds a new era for IBS. We are confident that he will lead the company into a more innovative — and more efficient — future.
